Steven A. Jorstad graduated from Kenyon High School in 1964.  Steve attended St.Olaf College where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education—History in 1968.  He was a teacher in Waukegan, Illinois before deciding to return to Minnesota and attend law school.

Steve graduated from William Mitchell College of Law, receiving his Juris Doctorate in 1974.

After law school, Steve served as an assistant county attorney in Douglas County, Minnesota.  In 1975, he returned to Wanamingo, Minnesota and founded his own law practice.  Over the last 35 years of practicing law, Steve has focused in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate, Wills, Criminal, Tax, and Real Estate.

Personal

Steve married his college sweetheart, Ann, in 1972; they have two beautiful daughters Mali (James) and Jenny (Kent).  Steve and his wife reside in Northfield.  In his free time he enjoys traveling, fly-fishing, acting in the local theatre, and spending time with his family.
